So far so good!

So far - so good! The visuals are slowly moving from the default quick pictures (you can still see them on the character, though - Weil can draw, but only keeps a mouse when coding, so making decent placeholders was not an option).

The recent task was to go from having a single tile image for the floor and the wall to multiple textures for tile type (since our dear Cat worked really hard to make them less repetitive) and to teach the game how to drop different enemies.

Artist Cat works very hard on the visuals (I think monster pumpkins are adorable), and my dear Fox colleague is joining us tomorrow. And do not worry, we are planning to bring in at least some dialogue, so plot Bunny is also joining the endeavour. We need to repurpose the dialogue system for that, but this Penguin fully believes in her coder colleague. (Both dialogue logic and pathfinding logic are treated as "magic here") The Penguin herself needs to make preparations for displaying actions, showing inventory, and the cosy autumn part - coffee making. Probably even practice it IRL, hehehe. (Also - means background making. Going to repurpose lab assets)

Sincerely yours, whatever-Crow, Weil.
